Please find several frequently asked questions below.

Can pests interfere with the artificial lawn?

If you have moles, burrows, rabbit holes or ant nests, these should all be removed before proceeding with any artificial grass lawn installation. We cannot offer further advice so you should consult a pest control specialist.

What payment options do you accept?

We are delighted to advise that we accept all major credit and debit cards including: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro & VPay.

What sort of maintenance will my new artificial lawn need?

Basically, all you need is a good stiff broom which will enable you to sweep any debris from your lawn. Alternatively you could use a petrol air blower once in a while but please ensure you hold it at least 2ft from your lawn.

Can the artificial grass be abrasive to skin?

No, unlike old artificial grasses our grasses have soft polyethylene fibres which will not graze young skin.

Is artificial grass environmentally friendly?

Yes, Artificial Lawn does not need to be watered like real grass. Additionally chemical fertilizers and weed killers are not needed. Your carbon footprint will also be reduced without the weekly use of a lawnmower.

How much would it cost for artificial grass to be installed?

Each installation requires different needs so prices can vary dependant on a few factors. Usually, we can get a rough idea from asking a few questions from the customer and give a rough estimate. We always visit our customers to go through their requirements as soon as possible so just call us on the number above for your free quotation.

How is the artificial grass secured to the ground?

All artificial grass is secured in place via gluing to a concrete screed. For details on our installation method please see the Artificial Grass Installation page under Services.

How would you lay artificial grass on roof terraces or balconies?

This is very straight forward, the most important thing to take into account is the drainage. If you have no problems, you can lay you artificial grass straight onto the surface. Alternatively, we’d recommend using our 9mm shock pads which gives you water drainage beneath your lawn. Please call for advice before installing any products in an area with drainage problems.

Will weeds grow through my lawn?

All artificial lawns are laid on top of a Geo textile membrane, which successfully inhibits the growth of weeds. However very small weeds may occasionally grow on top of the artificial lawn, but can be easily removed with a brush.

Will there be any drainage problems once my new lawns been laid?

Because we aim to lay all our lawns as flat but slightly sloping, the majority of water either runs off the lawn or seeps through into the ground. All of our products have drainage holes to allow water to pass through. If the original lawn has had a lot of drainage problems, we do advice calling us to arrange a visit.

Is The Artificial Grass Pet Friendly?

In our experience dogs and cats love artificial grass. Our biggest problem is keeping them off it when we’re installing. With regards to any mess left by your pets, it’s as simple as picking it up and if any excess mess is left you can hose down that area, or wipe it clean. We do tend to recommend to our customers to use a denser, shorter pile product to make life a little easier. The artificial grass won’t dis-colour either from urine.
